On the first day of your four-day Bwindi Gorillas and Lake Bunyonyi safari, your driver-guide will welcome you with a brief introduction to the adventure ahead. You'll then embark on a scenic 9 to 10-hour journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Along the way, enjoy a stop at the equator for stunning photos and souvenir shopping. The trip continues with a lunch break in Mbarara city, followed by more picturesque views of terraced farmlands and rolling hills in Ntungamo and Kabale. Upon arrival at Bwindi, you'll check into your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

On the second day of your 4-day Bwindi Gorillas and Lake Bunyonyi safari, you'll start with an early breakfast before meeting your driver-guide, who will take you to the park headquarters for a briefing on the rules and guidelines of gorilla trekking. After the briefing, you'll be divided into groups of eight and assigned a specific gorilla family to track. Led by an experienced park guide, you'll embark on a trek through the jungle, which can take anywhere from 30 minutes to 6 hours, depending on the gorillas' location as they move in search of food.

Once the mountain gorillas are found, you'll have the rare opportunity to spend an hour observing them in their natural habitat. Watch as they feed, care for their young, and interact with one another, while capturing photos and videos of this unforgettable experience. After your time with the gorillas, you'll return to the starting point, where you'll be awarded a certificate for participating in the trek. You’ll then be driven back to your lodge to relax, enjoy dinner, and settle in for the night.

On the third day of your 4-day Bwindi Gorillas and Lake Bunyonyi safari, you'll start with an early breakfast before checking out of your lodge. Your driver-guide will then take you on a scenic journey to Lake Bunyonyi in Kabale, offering beautiful views along the way. Upon arrival, you'll check into your lodge and enjoy a delicious lunch. In the afternoon, embark on a captivating boat cruise around the lake, where you can explore several of its islands and admire the stunning birdlife. After the cruise, you'll return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

On the final day of your 4-day Bwindi Gorillas and Lake Bunyonyi safari, you'll start with an early, leisurely breakfast before checking out of the lodge and meeting your driver-guide for the return journey to Kampala. Along the way, you'll stop for lunch at the Igongo Cultural Centre in Mbarara town. After lunch, you'll continue the drive, arriving in Kampala by evening. Your driver-guide will then drop you off at your preferred location—either at Entebbe International Airport for your flight or at your hotel for the evening.
