After an early breakfast, you will be driven to Nyungwe Forest National Park. Enjoy scenic views of the lush hills along the way and a visit to the King’s Palace in Nyanza to delve into Rwandan history and culture. Stop in Butare for lunch before reaching Nyungwe Forest National Park. Experience a thrilling canopy walk on a 50-meter-long suspended bridge, offering spectacular views of the forest and its wildlife. Return to Gisakura Visitor Centre for dinner and an overnight stay.

Following an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing on chimpanzee trekking. Your excursion into Nyungwe Forest will last up to six hours, where you’ll search for habituated chimpanzees and observe their behaviour for one hour. Following breakfast, set out for a morning game drive to search for any wildlife you may have missed previously. After returning to the lodge for a brief rest and lunch, enjoy a boat ride on Lake Ihema. Marvel at the scenic views and observe hippos, crocodiles, and numerous bird species. On the final day of your safari, enjoy an early breakfast before checking out. Drive back to Kigali, with a stop for lunch along the way.
