Your adventure begins early, as you're met by your guide and transferred from Kampala to Queen Elizabeth National Park. The journey takes approximately 6 to 7 hours, with a stop at the equator for breakfast, photos, and a brief demonstration of the equator’s unique effects. Afterward, continue with a stop for lunch at the Igongo Cultural Centre in Mbarara, before arriving at the park.
Upon arrival, check into your lodge before embarking on an exciting boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel at 2:00 p.m. This cruise offers a prime opportunity to witness large pods of hippos, crocodiles basking on the shores, and an array of bird species, such as cormorants, pelicans, and Egyptian geese. As the sun sets, return to your lodge for dinner and a restful overnight stay.
