Tanzanian wildlife safaris.

Due to the abundance of tourist safari attractions, including numerous national parks, including the most popular Serengeti National Park, home to the world’s largest population of wildebeests, Tanzania is among the greatest places to go on a wildlife safari. Many tourists on an East Africa safari tour go to the Serengeti National Park to see the seasonal migration of wildebeests between the two national parks the Maasai Mara National Reserve in Kenya and the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania. In addition to the Serengeti National Park, Tanzania boasts a number of other national parks that make excellent safari destinations for wildlife viewing. One such park is Lake Manyara National Park, which is especially popular with tourists who want to see the tree-climbing lions.

As these rare animals are only found in Tanzania and Uganda, two stunning East African nations, this can be combined with an expedition to Queen Elizabeth National Park in Uganda to see more tree-climbing lions. Along with the Ngorongoro conservation area, Mount Kilimanjaro, Arusha, Lake Natron, and numerous other national game reserves, such as Selous and Uwanda, there is also the well-known Tarangire national park in Tanzania, which is a popular safari destination for wildlife viewing safaris. A safari to Tanzania opens the door to game drive/ wildlife viewing safaris, birding safaris, boat cruise safaris, nature walks, cultural safaris, hot air balloon safaris, beach safaris etc.

This suggests that Uganda is the most stunning location in East Africa and should not be missed when on a wildlife tour. As long as travelers stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary on the way to or from Murchison Falls National Park, they can explore Uganda’s oldest and largest national park, which is home to the Big Five mammals, and the country’s most potent waterfall, known as the Devil’s Cauldron. In the impenetrable national park of Bwindi, there is still the possibility of encountering mountain gorillas, one of the rare and endangered primate species. According to records, over half of the remaining mountain gorillas are found in the impenetrable national park of Bwindi, making Uganda home to the greatest population of endangered gorillas.

Mgahinga National Park is home to one gorilla family as well. The Nyakagezi gorilla family is unique and unmatched. The most exciting and daring activity in the gem of Africa has always been mountain gorilla trekking. The remaining population of endangered mountain gorillas is found in Volcanoes national park in Rwanda and in Virunga national park with in Congo so one is in location to enjoy gorilla trekking safari in East Africa within 3 destinations including Uganda, Rwanda and Congo. The best time for wildlife safari tour in East Africa.

The best time to have a wildlife safari depends on the safari activities one intends to do otherwise a safari to east Africa can be done at any given period of time all year round but the best months to visit the parks on a wildlife safari is during the dry months when the parks are dry, accommodations are dry and the sighting of the wildlife is easy.

For example, the greatest times to go on walking, hiking, observing primates, game viewing, and beach visits in East Africa are during the dry months. The rainy months are the best times to visit East Africa for birders because most bird species reproduce during these months and visit the forests because there is an abundance of food to eat. In contrast, these months have minimal vegetation cover, making it easier to spot wildlife and to hike and trek on safaris.

On the other hand, I advise anyone who would like to witness the wildebeests in migration to go to East Africa in July, August, September, October, and November, as this is when they pass through the Mara River.

In conclusion, schedule a wildlife safari to visit two nations in East Africa, or plan a safari that encompasses all five countries: Uganda, Rwanda, Kenya, Tanzania, and the Congo. Munda Africa is always prepared to create an itinerary specifically for you that fits the places you want to see.
