Day 1: Arrival and Kigali city tour, Transfer to Volcanoes National Park.
On the first day of your 2-Day Rwanda Gorillas Safari, you will be collected up from the airport/hotel/apartment by your guide. Your Rwanda safari guide will greet you to your two-day Rwanda Gorillas safari and provide you with an overview of the itinerary.
Visit the sites of the Kigali Genocide Memorial. You will experience a city tour of Kigali and visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial, where you will learn more about the 1994 Rwandan genocide. In addition, you will visit craft stores and markets, among others with the lunch enroute.
Take the shuttle to Volcanoes National Park. After your city tour of Kigali, you will have approximately two to three hours to reach Volcanoes National Park by car. After entering the park, check into your lodge and relax while you wait for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking, Departure
On the second day of your 2-Day Rwanda Gorillas Safari. Wake up early in the morning and take breakfast. After an early morning breakfast at the lodge, you will check out and then be transferred to the briefing point with packed lunch, the starting point for your Rwanda gorilla trekking excursion.
You will be briefed on the rules and regulations to follow during gorilla trekking in Volcanoes National Park, before being assigned a Rwanda gorilla family to follow you will be grouped into different groups of 8 members. Initiate a search for gorillas in their natural environment with armed ranger the activity takes a period of 30 minutes to 8 hours. Spend one hour with the gorillas after encountering them while watching their characters, taking their pictures, recording their videos, and then return to the starting point for gorilla trekking certificates. Your driver-guide will be waiting. You will be driven back to Kigali and dropped off at your hotel/apartment or at the airport in order to catch your departure flight.
