Detailed itinerary
Day 1: pick up and drive to Arusha hotel
- Your trip will begin when your guide picks you up at the airport and gives you information about your tour. After the meeting, you’ll be driven to your Arusha hotel, where you’ll check in and eat lunch.
- After lunch, you’ll go to Arusha National Park. As you drive around the park and stop at different sites, you’ll be able to take in the sights. In the national park, you can also see different kinds of animals and birds. At the end of your first day on safari, you will go back to your hotel to have dinner and spend the night at Tulia boutique hotel and spa.
Day 2: drive to Ngorongoro conservation area
- On the second day of your safari, you will have breakfast at your hotel in Arusha before you check out and drive to the Ngorongoro conservation area. This is one of the most popular places to see wildlife in the northern part of Tanzania. Before going down into the crater, you will eat lunch at your camp in Ngorongoro.
- As you tour the Ngorongoro crater, you’ll see a lot of animals, including elephants, buffalos, elands, wildebeests, giraffes, antelopes, zebras, hippos, rhinos, and predators like lions, leopards, cheetahs, and hyenas, among others. You will also go to Lake Magadi, where you can see flamingos and other birds along the lake’s edges. After taking pictures and watching the sunset, your guide will drive you back to your lodge for dinner and a night’s stay at Hhando coffee lodge.
Day 3: drive to Serengeti national park
- You’ll start the day with breakfast at your lodge in Ngorongoro Conservation Area before checking out and driving to Serengeti National Park. On the way, you’ll go on a game drive and enjoy driving through open savannah plains to your lodge, where you’ll check in and have lunch.
- After lunch, you and your guide will go on a game drive around Serengeti National Park to look for animals like the “big five,” which are lions, leopards, rhinos, buffalos, and elephants. As you drive around the national park, you’ll also get to see different kinds of wildlife and interesting places. You will go back to your Serengeti heritage luxury tented camps and hotels for dinner and to sleep for the night.
Day 4 to day 6: full day in Serengeti national park
- On your schedule for the next three days, you will start each day with breakfast at your camp before going on a morning game drive through Serengeti National Park to look for animals that are most active at this time.
- After your morning game drive, you will be taken back to your lodge for lunch. After lunch, you’ll go on a game drive in the Serengeti national park to see more of its wild areas and look for animals like buffalos, antelopes, wildebeests, hartebeests, elands, impalas, leopards, lions, elephants, giraffes, and different kinds of birds. On the way back to your lodge for dinner and a night’s sleep at Serengeti heritage luxury tented camps and lodges, you can watch the sunset.
Day 7; drive to Arusha
- On the last day of your safari, you will have breakfast and then check out of your camp. You will then drive to Arusha, where you will be dropped off at the airport.
