Day 1: Arrival and transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park and Batwa experience.
On the first day of 3 Days Uganda Gorilla Habituation safari from Kigali. Your safari guide will pick you up, either from a Kigali hotel or Kigali International Airport and give you a briefing about the safari. As you make your way to a hotel in Kigali for lunch. After taking lunch, continue your journey across the Cyanika border into Uganda. You will then be driven straight to the Rushaga sector in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, where you can check into your lodge, freshen up and then set out on an evening cultural tour to the nearby Batwa communities, where you can spend time with the Batwa, who used to live in the forest before being forced out. You can find out more about the batwa’s old life while interacting with them, when they lived in harmony with gorillas in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park’s wildness. Enjoy the amazing performance, purchase some crafts, and do many other things. You will go back to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 2: Gorilla habituation experience in Bwindi Impenetrable national park.
On the second day of the three days Uganda Gorilla Habituation Safari from Kigali, enjoy an early breakfast at your lodge. Bring enough water with you since you will be spending nearly the entire day in the habitat of endangered mountain gorillas and packed lunch. Wear your suitable clothes, which should include light yet water-resistant hiking boots, long sleeved clothing, sunglasses, a cap, gardening gloves, and insect repellant, then be taken to a briefing by your safari guide. You will learn more about gorillas, dos and don’ts during gorilla habituation, and other things during the briefing. After a briefing, you will join a group of four habituated people, armed rangers, local guides, and researchers work together to look for the unhabituated gorilla family that is still going through the habituation process, which takes around two to three years. Since gorillas are wild animals and will always be wary of humans, you will be teaching them to become accustomed to us during habituation. The goal is to teach these primates to feel at ease around people so that trekking will be simpler. You will follow them slowly as they go about their daily activities, which include feeding, playing, copulating, and occasionally fighting if there are multiple silverbacks in a group. And you will train them for four hours and get them used to humans that is such impressive, after the four hours you will meet your safari driver and be driven to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 3: Drive back to Kigali for departures.
On the third day of the three days Uganda gorilla habituation safari from Kigali, have your breakfast at your leisure before checking out of the lodge and meeting your safari driver to leave Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and drive back to Kigali Rwanda with a lunch stop en route. Upon arrival in Kigali, you will start a city tour that will take you to most of the city’s attractions, including memorials built in memory of the Rwandese people who perished in the 1994 genocide, craft stores, Kimironko Market, and many others. In order to catch a flight to the next destination, the last drop-off site will either be a hotel in Kigali or Kigali International airport.
