On the first day of the 4-day Bwindi Gorillas and Lake Bunyonyi Safari, your driver-guide will meet you and provide a brief overview of the adventure ahead. You'll then embark on a scenic drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, a journey that takes approximately 9 to 10 hours.

En route, you'll make a memorable stop at the Equator for stunning photos and souvenir shopping. Continue your journey with a lunch break in Mbarara city. After lunch, you'll proceed through the picturesque landscapes of Ntungamo and Kabale, where you'll enjoy views of terraced farmlands and rolling hills.

Upon arrival at Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, check into your lodge for a relaxing evening, followed by dinner and an overnight stay.

On the second day of your 4-day Bwindi Gorillas and Lake Bunyonyi Safari, you'll start early with breakfast before meeting your driver-guide, who will take you to the park headquarters for a briefing on gorilla trekking guidelines and rules.

After the briefing, you'll be divided into groups of eight and assigned a gorilla family to track with the assistance of a knowledgeable park guide. Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park can last from 30 minutes to 6 hours, depending on the location of the gorillas, as they move in search of food.

Once you locate the mountain gorillas, you'll spend one hour observing them in their natural habitat. This time allows you to witness their behaviors, including feeding, grooming, and interacting, as well as to capture photos and videos of these incredible moments.

After your hour with the gorillas, you'll return to the starting point, where you'll receive a certificate of participation. Later, you'll meet your driver-guide and return to the lodge for an evening of relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.

On the third day of your 4-day Bwindi Gorillas and Lake Bunyonyi Safari, you'll start with an early breakfast before checking out of the lodge. Your driver-guide will then take you on a scenic drive to Lake Bunyonyi in Kabale, where you'll enjoy picturesque views along the way.

Upon arrival at Lake Bunyonyi, check into your lodge and have lunch. Afterward, embark on a captivating boat cruise around the lake, exploring several of its islands and observing the stunning bird species.

Following the boat cruise, return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

On the final day of your 4-day Bwindi Gorillas and Lake Bunyonyi Safari, you'll start with an early breakfast before checking out of the lodge. Your driver-guide will then take you on the journey back to Kampala.

Along the way, you'll stop for lunch at the Igongo Cultural Centre in Mbarara. After lunch, continue your drive to Kampala, arriving in the evening. Your driver-guide will drop you off at your preferred location, either Entebbe International Airport for your flight or at your hotel.
