Cross seasonal rivers before arriving at Kidepo, a park known for its rugged beauty and untouched wilderness.

Check into your lodge and enjoy a hearty lunch before embarking on an evening game drive in the Narus Valley, famed for its vast buffalo herds. Keep an eye out for elands, waterbucks, giraffes, and even lions. With a bit of luck, you may spot the elusive cheetahs, which are unique to this region in Uganda. Return to your lodge for dinner and relaxation.

Start your day with an early morning game drive in the Narus Valley, known for offering exceptional wildlife sightings. From observation points across the valley, use binoculars to view buffaloes, zebras, Uganda kobs, reedbucks, and even bat-eared foxes. The game drives in Kidepo are particularly rewarding, with the chance to see a wide variety of species without the crowds of more popular parks.

After lunch and a brief rest, head to the Kidepo Valley, located near the South Sudan border, for an excursion to the Kanangorok Hot Springs. This northern part of the park is known for its vast landscapes, stunning rock formations, and sightings of ostriches, which are abundant in this area. Marvel at the stunning views of the falls, catch glimpses of native birds and small wildlife, and enjoy panoramic vistas of the Karamoja plains below.

Along the way, you'll also pass through coffee plantations, where you can learn about the process of growing and harvesting some of Uganda’s finest Arabica coffee. Depending on your fitness level, you can choose to visit all three waterfalls or just two, before returning to the lodge for a well-deserved rest. Dinner will be served, followed by an overnight stay.
