Your safari begins with a pickup from your Kigali hotel or the airport, followed by a drive to Ruhengeri, home to Volcanoes National Park. After lunch, you'll visit the park headquarters in Kinigi to collect your gorilla trekking and Karisimbi hiking permits. Later, embark on a cultural tour of the region before settling in for the night.

After an early breakfast, you'll head to the park for a gorilla trekking briefing. With your guide and armed rangers, you'll trek through the forest to find a gorilla family. Spend a magical hour observing these majestic creatures in their natural habitat before returning to the lodge for dinner and rest.

Start the day with a hearty breakfast before setting out to climb Mount Karisimbi, Rwanda’s highest peak at 4,705 metres. Accompanied by rangers, you’ll trek for 6-7 hours through the lush forest, ascending to 3,700 metres, where you’ll camp for the night under the stars, preparing for the final ascent.

Rise early for the final push to the summit. From the top of Karisimbi, you’ll enjoy panoramic views of the Virunga volcanoes and surrounding landscapes. After savouring the breathtaking sights, begin your descent and transfer to Gisenyi, where you’ll relax by the shores of Lake Kivu.

After a leisurely breakfast, you’ll take a boat cruise across Lake Kivu to Nyungwe Forest National Park, one of the best places in Rwanda to see primates. Arrive in the afternoon, check into your lodge, and spend the evening at your leisure, enjoying the serene forest atmosphere.

Begin early with breakfast before heading out for a chimpanzee trekking adventure. With your guide, search for habituated chimpanzees, spending an hour observing them in their natural environment. After lunch, enjoy a canopy walk, which offers spectacular views of the forest from 50 metres above the ground. You may spot various primates, birds, and other wildlife.

After breakfast, check out and drive back to Kigali, a 6-7 hour journey through Rwanda’s picturesque countryside. Along the way, you’ll pass tea plantations, rolling hills, and historical landmarks. Upon arrival in Kigali, you’ll be dropped off at your hotel or the airport, marking the end of your incredible Rwandan adventure.
