This 5 Days Uganda Wildlife Safari will take you to Murchison Falls National Park and Queen Elizabeth National Park. This tour offers the finest opportunities to observe wildlife in Uganda.

Detailed itinerary.

Day 1: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park – Boat Cruise.

On the first day of 5 days Uganda wildlife safari. Depending on your location in Kampala, you will be met by a representative/guide from our company who will then pick and welcome you, he will brief you about the 5 days Uganda wildlife safari. And transfer you to Queen Elizabeth national park as early as 6 a.m., it’s a 6 to 7-hour journey with a brief stopover at the equator for breakfast and to conduct an experiment for the equator and take photographs. And embark on your journey with enroute lunch stopover in Mbarara at Igongo cultural centre. You will proceed with your journey until Queen Elizabeth national park with the beautiful sightings of the tea plantations along the way. Upon your arrival you will check in into your lodge.

You will go on a boat cruise on the Kazinga channel at 2:00 p.m., where you will see large schools of hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of animals along the water shores, bird species like cormorants, pelicans, Egptian goose and many others. Later, settle into your lodge for some rest and relaxation, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Morning game drive and transfer to Fort Portal.

On the second day of 5 days Uganda wildlife safari. You will rise early, consume brunch, checkout and then embark on a game drive in the Kisenyi region. Expect to see the early raisers like Lions, Elephants, Buffaloes, and if you’re fortunate, Leopards, as well as antelopes, giraffes, and warthogs during the game drive and watching various bird species like the cattle egrets, Marabou stork, Hadada Ibis, Pied crow and many others. Depending on the time you complete the game drive, you will leave the park heading Fort Portal and have lunch enroute there; the drive is three hours. After arriving in the city, you will sight some of the crater lakes around the Fort portal and some city tour in Fort portal, you will relax and stay in the town for dinner and over stay.

Day 3: Full day drive to Murchison falls National Park.

On the third day of 5 days Uganda wildlife safari. Wake up early in the morning and enjoy breakfast. After enjoying a delectable breakfast at the lodge, you will be transferred to Murchison falls national park. This is a full-day journey that includes a stop for lunch. Arrive late in the afternoon at the park, and if you have time, drive to the summit of the Murchison Falls before connecting to your lodge. After check into your lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.

Day 4: Morning Game drive and launch cruise at the bottom of the falls.

On the fourth day of 5 days Uganda wildlife safari. Wake up early in the morning and take a hearty breakfast. After an early breakfast at the lodge, you will meet with your safari guide and embark on a game drive on the park’s Northern Bank. The activity lasts between three and four hours, and participants will be able to observe a variety of animals, including elephants, Rothschild giraffes, buffaloes, lions, Hartebeest, Uganda kobs, Oribis, and waterbucks without forgetting beautiful bird species. After the morning game drive, go back to the lodge for lunch.

After lunch, embark on a Nile cruise with a thrilling panorama of the base of the mighty Murchison Falls. You will encounter crocodiles, hippos, and species such as kingfisher, cormorant, and bee-eater along the cruise.

After viewing the falls from the bottom, you can take an optional hike to the top of the falls through Bakers trail and also be able to stand at bakers stone -bringing you closer to the bottom of the falls. This hike is a bit difficult, but it’s fascinating because you will enjoy seeing the falls from different vantage points, and when you reach the top of the falls, you will be awestruck and forget about the difficulty of the hike. After enjoying your time at the summit of the falls, your driver will return you to your lodge for dinner, evening relaxation and overnight stay.

Day 5: Rhino trekking—Kampala & Departure.

On the fifth day of 5 days Uganda wildlife safari. Wake up early in the morning and take breakfast. After an early breakfast at the lodge, you will depart the park and travel to Nakasongole district, which is home to Uganda’s only remaining rhinos. Spend two to three hours at the Ziwa Rhino sanctuary for Rhino trekking, have lunch enroute, and then drive to Kampala and Entebbe, where you will be dropped off for your flight to your next destination.
